 This chapter got super technical with a lot of the camera settings. I won’t lie some of it is awful confusing for me, but I know when I get into the practice of using these settings, it will become second nature. One thing I really liked is how the author points out ways of filming and using these settings to portray different feelings in the film. For example, the feeling of hallucinating or adding affect to a fight or chasing using the shutter speed. he also talks about how the grain or noise in a picture can be used for artistic reasons like creating a dirty or gritty look.
