”A wide-angle lens creates what is called a wide field of view. Field of view is what is visible in the frame from side to side and top to bottom. A wide-angle lens will allow you to see a large area of field of view. This can be exceptionally useful when shooting in confined spaces like the interior of a car or small room.”

This blog post is an appreciation post to the many different camera lens and wedding photographers/videographers. Reading about different camera lens and what they are intended to focus on had me thinking about all things wedding, being that I am getting married in May of 2026. I have an article linked down below that some wedding photographers wrote about their lens and why they use them to capture people’s special days.
